About the role

Do you want to work in a team where your competence really makes a difference every day? The Enteral Nutrition Team (EN Team) works with adult patients who have enteral nutrition treatment in ordinary housing, SÄBO (supported housing for people with disabilities), and LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The EN Team currently consists of a nurse with nursing competence and two dietitians with nutrition competence. The assignment is region-wide and the working method is designed to function equally for the region's entire population. The team performs reception visits, remote visits, home visits in special cases, and training in different locations. The team also participates in care meetings/SIP (Individualized Care Plan) to ensure a safe transition home with enteral nutrition. Patients become known to the team through referral. Team members have the opportunity to perform parts of their assignment remotely, but have a base workplace at Sundsvall/Örnsköldsvik Hospital. We offer close collaboration within the unit with flexible working hours and assignments. At the unit, we actively work for cross-professional collaboration and a good work environment.

We are now looking for a registered dietitian for a fixed-term position. The position is a full-time position with a start date of 2026-08-17 until 2027-03-31. Travel within the role may occur. With us, you will work in an engaged and knowledgeable team that works person-centered, where you will have a central role in creating safe and secure nutrition treatment for patients after discharge from the hospital.

Responsibilities

Usual tasks included in the dietitian role and close collaboration with the team's nurse, where you together are responsible for contributing to safe and secure enteral nutrition treatment. In the role, you will have the opportunity to develop your competence regarding different types of enteral access, how they differ, are cared for, and used in the best way.

Tasks that occur include among other things:

• Be responsible for leading the work to secure good nutrition and routines regarding enteral nutrition for patients in the entire region, from operation, counseling, planning to implementation and follow-up of treatment plans.
• Clinical assessment and treatment.
• Assess the nutritional status and nutritional needs of current patients.
• Prescribe, follow up, and adjust the enteral nutrition based on the patient's medical condition, needs, and tolerance.
• Counseling via phone and dialogue with the responsible physician regarding nutrition treatment in different care stages, including transitions between different care providers.
• Conduct training initiatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a registered dietitian.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Have a B driver's license.

It is meritorious if you:

• Have work experience from specialist care or primary care.
